About James Adger

James Adger

Where do I start? Hmmmm... I think, at the beginning. I retired from Stanford University after working in the main Heating, Air conditioning and Electrical distribution plant for 30+ years.Ê I love to travel and play golf.Ê At one time, I thought golf was all I needed.Ê Now, of course, painting is my passion. I've been painting since 11/2010.Ê I was introduced to painting through an Art Therapy program for treatment of P.T.S.D.Ê (Resulting from my time spent in Vietnam.)Ê I can't tell you how much joy I've found in painting.Ê Once I picked up a brush and put paint to a canvas the light of joy and freedom became my beacon in the storm.Ê A light, I hope, that never goes out. Ê Ê The hours I spend in my little studio just seem to fly...
